Whitney Griffith
Whitney was born and raised in Trinidad and Tobago and graduated from Howard University with a degree in Computer Science in December 2018. She is a proud graduate of Founder Gym, a Venture Capital Fellow at HBCUvc, a Software Engineer at Microsoft, and an investor focused on real estate, entrepreneurship through acquisition and startups in emerging markets.

Since her exposure to Silicon Valley and entrepreneurship in 2017, Whitney has come to recognize technology as a powerful tool for creating systemic change and expanding equal opportunities across the developing world and beyond.

As such, she has embarked on a journey that will help her grow and execute across leadership, technological expertise, entrepreneurship, and ecosystem building. Whitney is committed to accelerating talent and fostering solutions to address systemic inequity through ImpactWhit, while pursuing financial freedom through real estate and entrepreneurial ventures.
Sustainable Excellence
Danii Mcletchie
Danii, a Howard University School of Engineering graduate and sustainability professional, brings proven leadership and entrepreneurial expertise to her role as Director of Sustainable Excellence at ImpactWhit.

As co-founder of Carnicycle, Danii leads efforts to reduce the environmental impact of Caribbean Carnivals and festivals, working with local stakeholders to promote sustainable practices. Her achievements have earned recognition, including the Best Sustainability Business Pitch award and a spot in Green Biz's 2023 30 Under 30.

Beyond Carnicycle, Danii collaborates with Fortune 500 manufacturing companies to manage sustainability programs and drives environmental awareness in underrepresented communities through her work as a Sustainable Fashion Ambassador for Re/Make and Content Creator for her church.

Her commitment to her faith, sustainability and social impact aligns with ImpactWhit’s focus on fostering Excellence, Vision, and Community while promoting sustainable growth and environmental stewardship in inequitable communities.

Latifah is a seasoned professional with a proven track record in internal auditing, specializing in optimizing organizational efficiency and ensuring compliance. Her unwavering commitment to excellence and fostering growth aligns seamlessly with ImpactWhit’s mission to invest in Excellence, Vision, and Community.

As the founder of Balancing Life 868, a personal development company, Latifah empowers individuals and organizations through soft skills training and performance management. Since 2021, she has spearheaded various initiatives within ImpactWhit, focusing on time management, accountability, and personal growth. Her dedication to fostering both personal and professional development exemplifies ImpactWhit’s commitment to creating thriving individuals and communities.

Haile Shavers
Haile, a UC Berkeley alum and Software Engineer on Slack’s Developer Relations team, harnesses cutting-edge technology to drive innovation and create opportunities for developers globally. Her dedication to professional excellence and enabling developers to do their best work aligns seamlessly with ImpactWhit’s mission to invest in Excellence, Vision, and Community, particularly in supporting Early to Mid-Career Pipelines.

Beyond her work in tech, Haile serves as a leader with The Butterfly Movement, a nonprofit uplifting Black women and girls in food and land ecosystems. With over seven years of experience streamlining operations and fostering community, she embodies ImpactWhit’s principles of teamwork, accountability, and strategic growth. Her passion for financial literacy, nature, and holistic well-being reflects ImpactWhit’s focus on empowering individuals and communities to thrive holistically.
